Truckee Voter Guide

Make Your Voice Heard
Each election year the Truckee Chamber of Commerce creates a Truckee Voter Guide, a resource for local contested elections in the Truckee region. This guide provides valuable information to help you prepare for casting your vote in upcoming elections.
What You'll Find
Candidate Responses: Learn about candidates for various local districts and offices.
Important Election Dates: Key deadlines and dates for voter registration, ballot mailing, and voting periods.
How to Vote
Once you receive your ballot, you can mail it, drop it at a ballot box, or bring it in person to one of the voting centers. If you lose your ballot or don't receive it, you can get a new one at an in-person voting location. All polling places (including drop boxes) close at 8:00 p.m. on Election Night.
Where to Vote in Person
Information on in-person voting locations will be provided closer to the election date.
Where to Drop Your Ballot
Details on ballot drop-off locations will be made available closer to the election.
The Chamber of Commerce encourages its members to be informed and to research candidates and ask questions before voting.
Candidate Forums
Information on upcoming candidate forums will be shared as election dates approach. These forums provide an opportunity to hear from candidates directly. More information can be found by visiting our Candidate Forum Page.
