Community Connections Program

Home Is Where You Belong
Home is not where you live, it’s where you belong. When you have an opportunity to meet people and develop relationships and acquaintances, your sense of belonging increases. These acquaintances can provide connections to other people, things to do, places to explore, and ways to get involved. We host six events every year where you can meet new people and businesses in our community. Our next one is Women, Wine & Wheels at Quality Automotive Servicing on April 15.
Community Connections is a program developed by the Truckee Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Town of Truckee designed to:
Connect the community
Develop relationships
Encourage engagement, highlight volunteering opportunities
Connect with businesses and the people behind the business - See our April 15 Community Connections event, Women, Wine & Wheels below!
Share Truckee’s character, culture, values — what it means to be a Truckee Local
Community Connections: Women, Wine & Wheels
Apr 15, 2026 | 5:30 p.m.
Ladies, it's time to take the driver's seat when it comes to understanding your car! Join us for Women, Wine & Wheels, a fun and empowering evening designed to boost your confidence in seeking car care and repair. The evening begins with great food, wine, and socializing with other women. Then we move into a fun "game show" format and a few women-led stations that go further to explain how it works under the hood.
This is your chance to gain knowledge and learn not only what it takes to keep your vehicle running smoothly, but also what is necessary to keep it performing for the long haul. The entire evening is led by these amazing women in the automotive industry: Jamie Millard - 10 years in service advising and customer service, previously with Quality Automotive Servicing, Sheila Greeno - Co-Owner of Quality Automotive Servicing and German Import Garage, and Jaclyn Martin: Service advisor at German Import Garage with 25 years in the industry. The cost is $20. REGISTER NOW.
