Community Connections Program
Home Is Where You Belong
Home is not where you live; it’s where you belong. When you have an opportunity to meet people and develop relationships and acquaintances, your sense of belonging increases. These acquaintances can provide connections to other people, things to do, places to explore, and ways to get involved. We host six events every year where you can meet new people and businesses in our community.
Community Connections is a program developed by the Truckee Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Town of Truckee designed to:
Community Connections: Intro to Red Light Therapy at Vida.Brillo
July 4, 2026 | 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Please join us for sips, bites, socializing and an introduction to the benefits of red light therapy with Porscha Adams owner of Vida.Brilla Salon. Vida.Brillo brings science-backed, non-invasive therapies to that are convenient and easily accessible to downtown Truckee.
We'll enjoy good conversation and refreshments while learning about the benefits from Porscha and get to experience a mini session of red light therapy in a calming, approachable setting. Also known as photo biomodulation, it is widely recognized for its role in cellular repair, collagen stimulation, inflammation reduction, boosting your immune system, and more health benefits. We hope you'll join us; space is limited.

Connecting with the program is free and you will then receive our newsletter with information about upcoming Community Connections events that are held throughout the year. Additionally, you’ll learn about community events, volunteer opportunities, ways to engage, be heard and make a difference in your community. We won’t bombard your inbox, we promise!
2. Attend Our Community Connections Events!
Explore all that Truckee has to offer by attending our Community Connections events held throughout the year. Build your personal and/or professional network by connecting with like-minded people who share your interest in learning more about your community.
