Community Connections Program
Home Is Where You Belong
Home is not where you live, it’s where you belong. When you have an opportunity to meet people and develop relationships and acquaintances, your sense of belonging increases. These acquaintances can provide connections to other people, things to do, places to explore, and ways to get involved. We host six events every year where you can meet new people and businesses in our community.
Community Connections is a program developed by the Truckee Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Town of Truckee designed to:
Community Connections: VIP Seating at Truckee 4th of July Parade
July 4, 2026 | 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Enjoy the VIP treatment and get into the spirit of Independence Day at the Truckee Chamber of Commerce's Community Connections event during the much-anticipated Annual 4th of July Parade! Prepare for an exclusive experience as a select few lucky participants are granted access to coveted VIP seating, right alongside the judge's stage.
Starting at 9:00 a.m., you'll have access to comfortable seating next to the judge's stage. And hey, we've got you covered with coffee and tasty treats to keep you fueled up. From this prime spot, you'll get the best view of the parade, allowing you to experience all the excitement up close and personal.
VIP Seating is sold out. Mark your calendars for May to reserve for next year.

Connecting with the program is free and you will then receive our newsletter with information about upcoming Community Connections events that are held throughout the year. Additionally, you’ll learn about community events, volunteer opportunities, ways to engage, be heard and make a difference in your community. We won’t bombard your inbox, we promise!
2. Attend Our Community Connections Events!
Explore all that Truckee has to offer by attending our Community Connections events held throughout the year. Build your personal and/or professional network by connecting with like-minded people who share your interest in learning more about your community.
