Protect Your Dog's Paws

Summer temps are running hot this year. Be sure you watch out for your pup by exercising in the morning or evening when it's cooler. It can be surprising how hot asphalt temperatures can get! Even walking your dog downtown on the hot sidewalks during the day can be dangerous for your furry buddy. If you're out when it's hot, think about protective booties on the trails, sidewalks and roads to prevent severe burns. Your dog will thank you!

Marilyn Wood, owner of Marilyn's Catwalk downtown, will be giving away dog booties in all sizes (purchased from local business Mountain Hardware & Sports) while supplies last. Donations to help cover costs welcome. Drop by, say hi and thank her!
