Nevada County Reports 4th Highest Number of COVID-19 Cases Since Start of Pandemic

On August 2, Nevada County reported the fourth-highest number of cases since the start of the pandemic: 124. Out of 5,540 cases since the start of the pandemic, 328 are active cases, 12 hospitalized, one in ICU. 

Seeing an upward trend, on July 29th Nevada County Public Health issued a press release recommending wearing masks indoors in public settings, even if you are vaccinated. Masks are required if you aren't vaccinated and also required for all on public transportation, healthcare settings, and in schools.
