Meet New Member: Ian Casey Foundation

We are pleased to welcome new member, the Ian Casey Foundation. The Ian Casey Foundation is a nonprofit that provides meals, scholarships, and funding for needs-based youth programs in Truckee, Lake Tahoe, and Northern Nevada. This year, their annual fundraiser will be July 30, 2022, the 4th Annual Ian Casey Foundation Golf Classic at Tahoe Donner Golf Course. Ian Casey was a Truckee local who had an incredible love for life and those around him and who gave tirelessly to friends and family. His family and friends started the Ian Casey Foundation to memorialize him in the Truckee-Tahoe community and make the biggest impact they can to help local youths in need.

What started off as a friendly golf get-together quickly became much more, from 100 attendees at their first event to several hundred and growing. Their events have raised tens of thousands of dollars that have gone right back into the local community.
