Meet New Member: Christina Landini Photography

The Truckee Chamber is delighted to welcome new member, Christina Landini. Christina is a lifestyle family and motherhood photographer. She is all about documenting life's authentic moments, from maternity and newborn stages to teenage years and young adulthood. While she appreciates posed imagery, her heart truly belongs to capturing candid, genuine moments!

Christina lives in Truckee and serves the communities of Truckee, North Lake Tahoe, and Reno. This general area allows her photography vision to come to life, with the Sierra Nevada's beautiful mountains painting the perfect backdrop.

Christina believes that powerful imagery stems from an organic, documentary, and journalistic standpoint. During her sessions, she focuses on documenting the connection of families and telling their stories from an emotional and raw perspective. As a parent, she's seen firsthand how fast kids grow. Christina thinks that any parent can relate to getting caught up in the whirlwind of daily life, and it's way too easy to overlook the subtle changes that happen as our children grow. That's where photography comes in. It's like hitting the pause button on the chaos and taking a moment to soak it all in. With family imagery, we can freeze-frame those moments and really savor them.

Christina's passion for photography developed at a young age. Her mother, grandfather, and great-grandfather were driven by all forms of art. Christina's mom is a wonderful artist and crafts her own jewelry. Her maternal grandfather was a brilliant painter, and her maternal great-grandfather was a passionate glass blower and cherished his camera dearly. Capturing beautiful memories runs deep in her family and soul.

When clients go to Christina for a session, they always have a blast! She knows that not everyone likes having their picture taken, so she's all about making sure her clients feel totally at ease. Christina believes that light, upbeat sessions are the key to unlocking those natural, genuine smiles from your whole family—it's how the magic unfolds!
