2026 North Lake Tahoe-Truckee Leadership Program Accepting Applications Until Dec. 5

Local Professionals Invited to Apply for This Award-Winning Leadership Fellowship
The North Lake Tahoe-Truckee Leadership Program (NTTLP) is now accepting applications for its 2026 cohort. Since 2004, the program has graduated more than 500 leaders who live, work, or volunteer in the North Lake Tahoe-Truckee region.
NTTLP is designed to expand participants’ awareness of regional issues and opportunities while sharpening leadership skills for meaningful community impact. The program offers a curriculum featuring full-day sessions January through June 2026, focused on topics such as economic development, environment, local government, tourism, and workforce. Participants engage directly with civic and business leaders, build valuable peer networks, and experience hands-on learning opportunities. Graduates join a powerful alumni network of more than 500 professionals shaping the future of the Lake Tahoe-Truckee region.
This year NTTLP is excited to announce that three local leadership leaders will be presenting throughout the program. Susan Giacobazzi, founder of LoveYour Five, will join the class to guide them through a Clifton Strengths class and dive into communication and the leadership journey. Autumn Lincoln, owner of Tahoe Dave’s, will teach the group the best way to build effective teams, and Kate Frankfurt, founder of Goodwolf Leadership Coaching, will work with the group on managing up and how to give and receive feedback as a leader. This year's program will also get to hear from a panel on the challenges and opportunities presented by intergenerational leadership opportunities.
The 2026 program begins on Friday, January 9, followed by sessions on February 20, March 13, April 10, May 8, June 5, and graduation on June 12. Tuition is $825 for businesses, $750 for special districts, and $600 for nonprofits, and includes meals and materials. Partial scholarships are available.
Applications are due by December 5, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. Applicants must complete the online application and email one letter of recommendation to admin@tahoetruckeeleadership.com. To apply, visit tahoetruckeeleadership.com and click “Apply Today!”
Emerging and mid-career professionals, volunteers, public servants, and community advocates who reside, work, or serve in the North Lake Tahoe-Truckee region are encouraged to apply. Ideal candidates are those ready to deepen their commitment to the community and step into expanded leadership roles across sectors.
Graduates of NTTLP have gone on to serve on boards and commissions, lead nonprofits, drive workforce and economic-development initiatives, and strengthen the community fabric of the Sierra region. With each cohort, the program builds the next generation of local leaders equipped to address the region’s evolving challenges.
North Tahoe Truckee Leadership is a program that is run jointly by the Truckee Chamber of Commerce and the North Tahoe Chamber, with the Tahoe Truckee Community Foundation as the fiscal sponsor.
