Truckee Visitor Profile Study

The Truckee Chamber of Commerce worked with a strategic marketing group to conduct market research about tourism and visitor behavior in Truckee.  On Wednesday, February 11, 2015 Carl Ribaudo of Strategic Marketing Group (SMG) gave a presentation on the results of a year-long Visitor Profile Survey. • How much visitors spend while here
• Geographic origin
• Various demographics:
• Age
• Level of education
• Household income
• Respondents’ experience here compared to their expectations
• If it was their first trip or a return visit
• If they plan to visit Truckee again and if so in what season
• What attributes they considered important when deciding to visit
