May 26, 2020 - Reopen Nevada County: A Plan to Reopen in Stages While Limiting the Local Spread of COVID-19

NEW!  2nd Town of Truckee Business Outdoor Space Flexibility Allowance 

As of June 2, 2020, the Town of Truckee extended their outdoor use allowance for businesses to utilize outside space without permits until October 1, 2020 and:

  • Will allow for existing fitness and dance studios to open in outdoor spaces adjacent to their existing location ahead of Stage 3 reopening.
  • Businesses selling alcoholic beverages may open as long as they serve food during the hours that alcohol is served (can be prepared off-site or from a food truck on-site).
  • Food trucks may operate for the same hours as the primary use on-site and may utilize parking areas (except ADA spots) for the truck and seating.

The COVID-19 pandemic has taken a toll on individuals, businesses and nonprofits and there are many in critical need of support. It has also brought our community together to help one another. From regional emergency funds to businesses creating their own Go Fund Me campaigns, there are many opportunities to make donations.
