Local Businesses Provide Protective Gear & Supplies

From face masks, face shields, disinfectants, sanitizer, cleaning supplies, signs, to gloves – some local businesses have changed their focus or are providing additional options to provide protective supplies and gear for Truckee-Tahoe when supplies have otherwise been scarce. Changing gears has benefited the community through donations and allowed them to retain some staff during the COVID-19 pandemic. Mountain Hardware & Sports and our Truckee grocery stores and pharmacies have also been valued resources.

Truckee Seniors Recognized in Downtown with Individual Banners

Truckee Seniors Recognized in Downtown with Individual Banners

Parents and the broader community have come together to make and install banners to celebrate graduating seniors from Truckee High School and Sierra High School. These banners are hung on poles in the downtown Truckee area starting at the roundabout near Burger Me and extending to downtown and into the Railyard Project. We hope you can visit this area to celebrate the seniors and the community spirit that made this project happen!
