From face masks, face shields, disinfectants, sanitizer, cleaning supplies, signs, to gloves – some local businesses have changed their focus or are providing additional options to provide protective supplies and gear for Truckee-Tahoe when supplies have otherwise been scarce. Changing gears has benefited the community through donations and allowed them to retain some staff during the COVID-19 pandemic. Mountain Hardware & Sports and our Truckee grocery stores and pharmacies have also been valued resources. If you are having trouble securing any PPE, please contact the Chamber – we are happy to help.

Dave Polivy has offered to bulk order Petzl face shields for Truckee businesses and employees. They are great for all day use, people can see you smile, etc. – better for employees than face masks. They have a demo at TMS if anybody wants to check them out. Also available to order individually at $10+ tax/each.
