KidZone Museum Inspires Learning Through Creative Play and Discovery

Truckee KidZone Children's Museum

KidZone Museum inspires learning through creative play and discovery. As a non-profit and Truckee-Tahoe’s only children’s museum, KidZone Museum strives to create a welcoming space where all families can play, discover and connect.

They offer a custom-designed, interactive Exhibit where children can immerse themselves in imaginary play; a jungle-themed science room with hands-on items for learning, seasonal insects and our Wentzscope – a special microscope specifically designed for little ones to use; an art studio where a child’s inner artist can shine with paints, brushes, tape, scissors, glue and more.

At KidZone it’s all about the process – not the product! We have the ever-popular train table and air maze, an indoor play structure and outdoor play area, and an infant area where even our littlest patrons can make new discoveries!

Finally, KidZone offers other programs such as STEAM camps during summer and school breaks, weekly programmings such as Music Together, special family events, and offsite science classes and labs. We take pride in our partnerships with other local agencies, and in being able to offer scholarships to many families in our area – whether it be for a membership or to participate in one of our camps.

We invite you to come play with us. Learn more at KidZoneMuseum.org.
