Truckee Fire Chief Bill Seline and Police Chief Rob Leftwich presented what’s happening in our region to prepare, prevent and respond to a large scale wildfire at the March 12th Good Morning Truckee. They spoke about what the current trends are in prevention and evacuation plans. How personal preparedness and having a self-developed prevention and response plan is the key to success. Additionally, they shared with the group where to obtain critical information and communications in the event of an emergency and what you can expect in a scenario where a large scale evacuation is occurring.
