A beautiful indigo jewel, Donner Lake is a Truckee
favorite for year-round fun. You’ll find well-maintained
campsites in Donner Memorial State Park and trails for
hiking, biking, rock climbing, and horseback riding in
the Donner Summit area up Old Highway 40. A public
boat ramp and public docks along the north side of
the water and a public beach at West End invite one
and all to swim, sail, water ski, and fish. For more
